David Kipin is a Certified Information System Auditor. He is the Second Vice President for IT Audit at Bayerische Landesbank. In addition to systems auditing, he has worked in several areas of IT (programming, planning and security), as well as, other related business control activities (legislative analysis and regulatory compliance). His primary goals for the ISACA NY Metropolitan Chapter include: facilitating internal communications among CISAs within the chapter; coordinating activities between the Chapter and other professional associations, for the benefit of the Chapter's membership; and addressing business and workplace ethics issues. Over the last few years, Dave has assisted the Chapter in coordinating a joint conference with ISSA, organizing individual training seminars, compiling the GALA Brochure, and assisting with the accounts payable activities of the Treasurer Office. Most recently, during the past year, Dave has served as the Chapter Treasurer. In addition, he has served as an external reader for IT audit related masters degree thesis for NYU, and has addressed Pace University students regarding IT audit processes.
