The Oracle Security and Audit course is designed to help IT auditors understand the complexity of security and controls in the Oracle database and applications and with the working knowledge necessary to audit and review Oracle environments.

Level: Intermediate (two or more years of audit / security experience)

Prerequisites: The participants should have basic knowledge of database security and controls and business processes.

Program Concentration: The participants will learn the basic concepts of Oracle security, including identity management, information security, separation of duties, and encryption. They will also learn to how to determine whether Oracle security and auditing best practices are in use, and where common implentation vulnerabilties can often be found.   Oracle Identity Management and Database Security product suites will be introduced and their relevance to audit will be discussed.
