Implementing COBIT
for IT Management & Governance (two day) COBIT is an authoritative,
up-to-date international set of generally accepted IT management
best practices and control objectives written for business executives,
IT professionals and IT auditors. It continues to develop as
the leading guidance and set of resources for helping organization
to better manage IT, and provides a framework for implementing
IT governance. Many organizations for several years have been
using COBIT to support IT audits, but now a fast growing number
of management teams are adopting it as the framework for IT
governance, and are adopting it as guidance for IT performance
measurement, benchmarking and IT capability improvement. In
response to the need for guidance on how to implement COBIT
to support governance initiatives and IT management practices,
ISACA have developed this new workshop. It is specifically aimed
at IT managers and practitioners but will also appeal to IT
auditors influencing and supporting IT governance initiatives.
The course will provide delegates with newly developed methods
to help guide their implementation activities and is supported
by several case studies.
