This
intensive two-day seminar covers the Relational Database Management
System, Oracle. Topics include not only the concepts, facilities
and terminology of Oracle Database, but also presents the actual
commands necessary to provide security, audit, and query controls
for Oracle and Oracle-controlled data. Learn the risks associated
with and reduced by the use of Oracle. Understand Oracle, Inc.'s
approach to the client/server and Web environments.
At
This Seminar You Will Learn:
• Understand and use Oracle terms, such
as, “datafile", "internal", "procedure",
"view" and "key"
• List eight Oracle features and/or components
• Describe the Oracle architecture
• Understand how Oracle objects impact access control
• Describe the Oracle security mechanism
• Understand the importance of the audit trail feature
• Name at least four ORACLE integrity features
• List six risks associated with ORACLE
• Develop a customized audit program for use in their enterprise
• Use SQL statements and ORACLE commands to obtain evidence

Experienced IT Auditors,
Quality Assurance personnel and Data Security specialists. System
Administrators, Systems Programmers, Systems Analysts and Audit
Managers may also benefit from attendance.
Prerequisites:
Participants should first
have had training in audit and security of their operating system
environment(s).
